Two updates on Eliana, both occuring today.
- Eliana had her six month pediatrician appointment this morning. Poor thing had to get six different immunizations, spread between four different shots (two in each thigh) and an oral vaccine. She screamed after each one, but calmed down pretty quickly. After a quick bottle in the car, she fell asleep for a couple of hours and seems pretty normal. We’re hoping for no reactions to anything. Now she’s done with shots for another six months.
- I had Eliana up on a bed today, since it’s a nice soft surface and she doesn’t get into much trouble. Except now she’s figured out how to not only roll back to front, but now front to back. And she’s learning she can travel using this method. Three quick rolls later (within about five seconds), and off she went from the end of the bed. Fortunately, I knew she was gonna do it and was waiting to catch her as she went over the edge (and yes, I caught her). No more leaving her up on surfaces unattended anymore….
